View Full Version : WTB a sye for a tj and help on the install

Im looking for a slip yoke eliminator for my 2001 tj, it has a 6cyl and auto tranny, 231 tcase. I would offer some money or texans tickets or both for help install it. i will need everthing that goes with it , a drive shaft would help, im not a mech but i can help. thanks

The driveshaft is the most expensive part of the job.. I used a Performance Off Road Center SYE kit and it was pretty simple to install.. Advance adapters makes a good one that isnt that much more expensive... As for the shaft, I went with Tom woods..

Gonna be hard to find one used that's in good shape.. Might be easier to find a np231 case with one already installed...

I would offer help, but I barely have time to fix my own junk!

Im finding that out, i got a price on a drive shaft today, $500, it took the wind out of my sails. i can get a sye on ebay for $150. maybe i could trade my 16ft trailer for it all, thanks .

I have a 231 w/sye I bought for my 01 but never put it in. Trade for trailer?
