I bought a new diff cover from UGFW and I really like it other then it took almost 2 weeks after I bought it to get here it was water jeted and bent there here are some pics of me TIG Welding it at the house

This is my root pass (hot pass) once I get it welded completely up I'll come back and put my cap pass on

did you get any warpage?

Was wondering this too. Last time I tigged one I forgot to clamp it down, it warped like crazy.

I tacked it at every bolt hole and I jumped around and also let it cool off it took a lot longer then I thought but it turned out good. Did u have problems getting it Dave?? They shipped mine a week after I payed for it 😡

I've never dealt with Underground Fab, I usually go through RuffStuff. However, I wouldn't say that's uncommon to have parts shipped a week after payment. Not saying I like it, it's just the way it is. I have to call Poly Performance on average of 5 times after an order to make sure my stuff gets out the door.

If u want I can give lessons on mild steel or stainless or other exotic metals such as titanium, FX414 I'll post the final touch of the cover hear in a few minutes
