That is an over torqueing issue, that could have been prevented with proper installation and using a torqe wrench. My spacers came with torque specs 105ft/lbs to attach the spacer to the hub, and 85-90ft/lbs. to attach the wheel to the spacer.

I would agree that it very possibly could be, and I would assume that a company like spidertrax does quality inspections and possibly even UT's or x-rays their materials.
You know everything was fine with my spacers till I went to paint my wheels today. Twisted off a stud! Anyone got one laying around?? Lol
