how can I fix that? Buy a new cap?
You can re-pack and cap it. To eliminate them popping off again tack weld some washers on top of the caps. Be short with the weld time as it will heat up and kill the packing grease.

I am pretty sure that I have found my problem. The bushing on the lower part of my right front shock is split and falling apart. I am assuming that's my problem, I hope. I have another shock on the way so I will see.
You could have just replaced that bushing.. but yes, that will definitely make a clunk if that bushing is bad.

Well I also noticed that at the base of all my shocks where the shock piston rod connects to the bottom part of the shock is rusted at the welds, so it's only a matter of time or a good jolt before they snap. The shocks are Pro Comp Mx-6 series. Not sure if I should get another brand or stick with Pro Comp.
They got lifetime warranty on defective workmanship I would call the store closest to you and ask about it. They should not be rusting, I am running them and love the adjustability of em way better than a non-adjustable.
