    LockRite coming up!

Here we are just a mere 10 days from the WFTW event. I worked a bit of overtime and will be picking up a LockRite for the Dana 30 front in the Cherokee. Mark Claus suggested it and said I will probably barely notice it on the street....we shall soon see. Install either Friday afternoon or Saturday morning. A PosiTrac rear will be the next upgrade but after WFTW.

    LockRite coming up!

You shouldn't notice it at all, until you lock it into 4wd. If you do there is a problem.

    LockRite coming up!

I've been running one in the front for 11 years.. Can't tell it's there unless you are in 4wd.

yeah I appreciate that. Mark already told me it would not be too noticeable and I trust him and all you guys. The welded rear is a real pain in parking lots mostly......the convenience store I buy my afternoon beverage from after work has a tight lot and I chirp the rear tires when leaving. Just a minor distraction.....

I installed an Aussie in the rear of my 98 cherokee. Loved it. And the clicking when making tight turns didn't really bother me since I knew what was going on and how it was working. Just letting you know that that is an option unless you just want a full posi rear carrier.

Thanks Jeff. I used to run Lockrites in front and rear in the original Blue Angel YJ. Mark's reasoning is that using the posi rear, may help reduce axle breakage concerns with the C-8.25 And it will remain pretty streetable.

I loved my Aussie in mine. Had perfect tolerances when I installed it, and I just talked to the guy I sold it to today. Said its going good as a daily driver. I think I installed it last October.

I want to put another Aussie or lock rite in my 10 bolt front on my yj, just hoping that with a locked rear I don't have any turning issues on full size axles and 37s.

I agree with Mark. Especily for stock axles.
