Fog light issues.

I bought a 2001 Tj and the foglights would not come on. I asked the place I bought it from why. I was told it needed a new switch. The foglight switch on a 2001 is on the headlight switch just pull out the end. I bought a new one and replaced the old switch.....Still no fog lights. Are there any fuses or something I night have missed maybe?

Turns out it was a fuse. I rechecked the fuses and the 20 amp fuse for fog lights was in the empty slot so I put it in the Fog light spot and they came on...I thought well, I'll take the new switch back, so I put the old one back in and found out that the fog light would not shut off....Ok, the switch was bad but they didn't tell me that they moved the fuse...So I ended up needing a new switch anyway. New switch and fuse I now have fog lights that work.

Yeah, My switch acts up sometimes. and my buddy's switch is bad now, we removed his fuse for the time being.. glad you got it worked out. how much was the new switch?

The new switch was about 90 Bucks from AutoZone, From the Dodge place they are about 125 or so.
