Motor is disassembled and at the machine shop. Piston 1 and 3 where extremely loose which was causing the engine tapping/slapping noise. The head also had a small fracture, hopefully it can be fixed. Should have it in my jeep by end of this coming weekend.

Looking like good progress. Which machine shop are you using?

Ordered my headers and intake today. Banks for both. Headers will be here friday, dont know about intake. I have an aftermarket exhaust but I dont think it is 2.5" which the banks exhaust is, so probably in the next month or so I will buy and match the banks exhaust to the headers and intake.
    Headers: http://www.quadratec.com/products/17601_500_07.htm
    Cold air:http://www.quadratec.com/products/17018_100_07.htm
I am now on the hunt for a aluminum radiator with fan. Anybody have one of these? I have an auto so I think I want one that has a transmission cooler built in.
Quadratec has the griffin radiator and fan system, http://www.quadratec.com/products/51210_2124_07.htm, however I do not think it has a transmission cooler. Novack
http://www.novak-adapt.com/catalog/c...tj/k-tj21h.htm has them but with the electric fan it will be over 1k. Still debating which route to go or stay with the stock cooling system.

Motor is coming together, it will be 4.6 stroked once its done, monster cam, 4.2L scat crank 9000 series, ported heads and all balanced, all high performance internals(pistons, rings, springs, etc) with banks headers and cold air intake. I decided not to go with the aluminum radiator and electric fan mostly due to cost. I still will need at some point 24lb injectors and a chip that can pick everything up. About the only thing I could do more to the motor would be a 62mm throttle body and I dont think it will matter too much with out so for now I will keep stock. Other than that hopefully it will come together by the weekend or middle next week.
