The Evolution of Agriculture in the United States
Agricultural practices have changed considerably since the Pleistocene age of the hunters. Currently, Census experts say that the world's population will increase from 6 billion to 9 billion by 2050-all to be fed, clothed and even feed of agricultural products. To make the situation even more complicated, people rise from poverty due to hold a higher standard of living. For example, meat consumption and greater personal mobility even more demand for production of food crops, feed, fiber, and develop fuel.
One of the biggest questions that politicians, scientists and pressure groups from around the world have been struggling to answer for decades: how to expand agricultural production without significant its environmental footprint dramatically?
