Mounting Hi-lift on Barricade rear bumper and tire carrier
Hey guys, I am wanting to mount my hi-lift jack on my rear barricade bumper/tire carrier but I am having trouble finding a way to do it. Has anybody done this before or have any ideas? Thanks!

Hey Ross, you might have to mount it vertically since that bumper had a lot of angles. My question to you is this: why are you mounting it? A Hi-lift is a dangerous tool and on later vehicles doesnt really help anymore since the design of that jack is for flat stable surfaces - which a JK doesnt really have. Also I wheeled for YEARS without ever having to bring mine out and could have done without it easily.

Hey thanks for the response. I agree that when used as a jack the hi-lifts are very dangerous and I probably wouldn't ever use it as such. The only reason I still haul it around is because I have used it as a winch before to pull myself out of a mud pit. Ideally I would have an actual winch mounted in the front bumper however I don't have the $300+ to get one, especially for how little I get on the trails.
