Get registered. We have lots of troops coning this year. Lots of work has been done out at Ft Hood to insure this.

The event is always a good time.. Go sign up and participate peoples......you will NOT regret it..... I'm signed up again this year and can't wait. As an added bonus these guys and gals have the best stories.....

I think what Dan is saying is that at this point.....there are MORE WOUNDED SOLDIERS COMING than there are registered 4x4's. I am hearing there are 2 1/2 bus loads coming from Ft. Hood alone. There has been a real push this year and there are a LOT of returning warriors coming home from the wars. If you can get up there to Hidden Falls.....you will be needed more than ever. These folks want to go wheeling!

I'm not gonna make it. I had the time scheduled off with work and school but I finally got word from my unit that they're sending me to infantry school the day all the fun starts. What a bummer. I'll be in Bastrop that weekend, but I'll try to get some wheeling done some of the soldiers around Camp Swift.

had to settle for a set of mtz's great tires but the BFG km2's were just to much money they just up there price by $75 on the regular price and my cost wasnt much less than that. I love their tread pattern its perfect but they have really weak sidewalls that are very prone to getting sliced and diced on the rocks and no sipping. The mtz, has a similiar pattern, wears better and has more sidewall protection.
