Also finally replaced my shifter boot... maybe it will keep the heat down now... Other small fixes include: center console latch (was broken and didn't latch, replaced with new), air/heater blower motor switch, and working on installing a fuse block and switches for current 12v accessories, and making room for expansion for offroad lights and such.

Where'd you get the center console latch?

You have to pull the old one apart and remove the lock cylinder and install it in the new one... if your lock cylinder is still good... I'm not sure where you can buy the cylinder if it's bad...

EDIT: Here's the lock cylinder if you need it.. http://www.quadratec.com/products/55216_211.htm

Saw these straps at the beach run.. So the wife and I decided to give it a shot to make some... Found 2 different ways to make them, so we tried both.. I like the one that wraps around and back to itself better for my application, the other style would fit better for someone with roll bar padding still on the bars...

    ARB install.

Replacing my mini spool in the rear with an ARB. Wanted the flexibility for on road driving. Also bought the HD air compressor so I can mount a tank and use it for airing up tires, air horn, etc.

Here's my compressor mount. Saw it online (sold by Sinister Fabworks) and I took some measurements and drew it up in Autodesk inventor and sent it to Leo Brown at LCJ Designs and he cut it out for me on his CNC plasma table. Makes a nice clean install. Bolts up to the brake master cylinder mounting bolts.

Ripped my dash apart for the switch wiring and mounting. The ARB switches mount perfectly in the factory switch "blanks" under the A/C controls.

Now for the fun part. Installing the actual locker. Got the carrier out and run gear off. Oil drainage holes drilled in axle tubes, and hole drilled for air fitting in top of diff housing. Just need to get the bearings pressed on and figure up my shims, then it'll be ready to go!

And of course I had my little helper.
