Will a slip yoke on both ends of a drive shaft work on the front axle? Manual locks.

Please explain your setup in detail. I don't know why you would want to do that. Sounds like your over thinking it.
Yeah, not sure why you would want to run that, unless you got a two piece front driveshaft like I got.

I would say that you would have to make sure both ends are long enough to where one or the other cannot slip completely out...

I think Mike hit the head on the nail, that was the first thing I thought of when I read his post.
I was cutting an old shaft to shorten for my CJ. I cut a second shaft to use as a sleve over the cutout section. When I slipped the end over it just happened to be the end with the slip yoke from the second shaft and i had a shaft with 2 slip yokes. That made me go humm. I've never seen one and couldnt find anything on the internet. I didn't really think it would work but my gears were turning.
I think you would have to weld some sort of stop on the center section to keep it from sliding all the way down into the bottom half. Pics would help. I don't know how strong a design like that would be but hey patten it and you could be the next millionare.
Seems like a regular ole custom driveshaft is in order, there not that expensive cost about $150 to make one at north west drivetrain, off of 529 and the beltway. let us know how it turns out.

It was just a test fit to see if the section would fit over the first shaft. I am going to cut a sleeve and weld it over what I cut out to shorten it. I had a 50/50 chance of of it looking like this and yes I did attach the same 2 pics twice. der da der
