Hey, nice! There's a few of those I should prolly give some attention to. That looks like a good seal, too. Did you have to buy a new case part? It looks shiny.

the shiny part was from the slip yoke eliminator kit... Hasn't been installed too long..

Not sure why it started leaking.. my u-joint at the rear diff pinion was loose (straps didn't tighten down on the caps all the way) so I had a vibration, it caused the pinion nut to loosen up, so maybe that vibration caused the leak? I don't know...

Id think most damage from any of that vibration would e closer to the source, by the yoke and not at your transfer case. It sounds weird that it would cause the case seals to leak at the split. Maybe it was just weak and that was it's final day. Who knows... It's fixed now, right? Drive on!

Had my helper out in the garage with me today... He was trying to figure out the issue with the rear pinion... Turn my back for a second and the steering wheel and passenger seat is gone!! LOL.

Got the Clockspring all changed out.. Horn works again, but airbag light is still on... Dangit!!

Also almost finished up repairing the passenger seat release cable that make the seat tumble forward to allow passengers in the back seat.. $5 at the bicycle repair shop and it's almost as good as new!

I'm gonna try to do a quick write up on it when I get a chance...
