I believe this is the place that Sarge has mentioned in the past, it is located in Alief at Kirkwood and Bissonnet....I read a few things about it and am wanting to go check it out! Is anyone down for next wkend sometime? They are open fri-sunday right now and it's $10 per person.

yep I am down for that I have been meaning to get out there but havent had time to go check it out.I cant go on Sat I have a ham radio class that day. I could go on Sunday or the next weekend. It is just a old golf course there supposed to be some good hill climbs and some mud.

Sorry to bring yall the bad news but sugar hill is currently closed due to property owners filing a chapter 11.. w.e that means. So it is no longer legal for mike to let anyone in, unless you wanna take the risk. This was all said and done last night. I will be sure to post if I hear any good news. If sugar hill does open back up its worth the trip to make; parks still young and trails are to be made.. so make them

So the property has had a lein put on it for the most part and it no longer belongs to the owners. Thats what I get out of it. Since they filed for bankruptcy they lose temporary ownership of the land.Originally Posted by whatsMUD

Risk= what exactly, I am guesing if you go out there you could be arrested for tresspassing since the bank has filed a lein on the property? I dont know. Well provide more details when you get em. Thanks
