Houston Fall Run planning and announcement thread

They should be able to tell you what they have typically lined up for October. I know it was always a problem when WFTW did their fundraiser run. September is usually open there O know that but many will turn out there Labor day for the 4wp run.

Clint I will be going on the 4wp weekend for sure. Man its always a pain trying to schedule a run. I dont know of anything going on in Nov. I don't know if you would want to plan it around that time frame instead, just a idea. I usually cant afford to do back to back runs, especially now that we take both jeeps on the runs.

Been to Hidden Falls a bunch of times now. Its a great park and we always have a blast there. There is stuff for stock to wild to oh crap hold on.....lol Always real friendly people. On the big event days there may be a few that want to stay loud till the next morning but are respectful if asked to calm down.... The prices are great too.. The only thing that can get annoying is if it has been really dry out the main roads in there kick up some major dust, but its not like we are on those long..lol All in all I have never had a bad time there....

Sounds like a great time and will try to go. I'll be sure to mention it at our meetings as well. I've been once and really enjoyed it. Just two of us on that trip and neither had been there before. We managed to find our way around and had a blast. But, I was worn out after a full day of wheeling in the rocks and ready to head home the next morning.

We talked about this event tonight at the T/C chapter meeting ...
Maybe we could call other chapters to help with the 'extras' (like raffle items, stuff like that) and help make this an 'big' event?

Like I said - I dont know the full layout of the park and do not want to be over extended on it. But I appreciate the offer. We are just going wheeling for now and hoefully with other other event that supposed to take place there that same weekend we will get a few more members.
