Best 4" flexy lift for the $

Opinions on what the best flexy lift is per $ for a TJ ? About 4" of lift.

Yeah, the RE super flex kits are nice... My buddy just bought a TJ with 3.5" RE kit on it.. Looks like a good kit, but I haven't seen it Offroad yet..

Also lots of folks I know are liking the Teraflex system with the adjustable flex arms...

I'm running the cheap ProComp 4", and while it is a "decent" lift, flexes pretty well, but the bushings wear out too fast, and no adjustability.. Definitely a "get what you pay for" type lift..

Whatever lift you go with, make sure it comes with at minimum, an adjustable front track bar... Rear adjustable is preferred, but most kits just use a relocation bracket..

looks like the 3.5 RE is right about $1k. The loaded procomp lift is 8xx. Not to much difference for $.

What size body lift would be needed to wheel some 35-36s with the 3.5 to allow full suspension articulation? Or fender cut?/ run smaller 33s ? ideas.

Id like to buy one lift one time. i can change tires to get what im looking for i just dont want something the jeep will grow out of easily on the trail ans want an upgrade. i dont plan on going bigger than a 35-36" tire.

to clear 33's: 3" minimum lift.. the 3.5" RE fits 33's very well

to clear 35's, 3.5"+ suspension + 2" body (or Hiline fenders).. or 6" lift

    to clear 36's, 3.5"+ 1" body + Hiline fenders.. or 4" susp. + 3" Body.. or 6" lift + 1" body

    to clear 37's, 4" susp min. + 2" body + Hiline... or 6" suspension +2" body(or hiline)

This is close to accurate, there are many variances these days to keep you low and add big tires. Personally I have a Rubicon Express 5.5 long arm kit and would never buy RE again. The bushings are junk. I put them through their paces, but they fail way too easy IMO. I have replaced bushings three times (my rig has a hard 17,000 miles) I would like to think the bushings would last more than a couple of thousand miles before coming apart. I would do a lot of research before purchasing anything, I wish I had more first hand experience with other companies, but I do not. I have heard good things about Rock Krawler suspensions, but I do not know their prices.

Well I'm glad someone mentioned the re joints bein junk.. I've replaced the bushings in my pro comp twice after MAYBE 8,000 miles... @uppidycon has the full traction 6" and I'm thinking about that one next...

RE has updated their bushings. I have the 31/2 superflex on the JK and it will clear 37's. I have had no issues I have only had it on 2 runs since I installed but it is driven daily and rides really smooth with the mx-6 adjustable shocks. Tereflex make a great kit too but will cost you twice the cash as a RE kit. Rock Crawler makes some good stuff but pretty squeaky from what I have heard.

Got close to 21k on the JK and have not had to replace bushings on my pro comp yet.
