    Spun alumiinum cng tanks

Selling a pair of aluminum CNG tanks out of Dual fuel XJ. I have ONLY the two tanks and brackets. Brackets can be used as single or dual tank setup. Tanks are spun aluminum and fiberglass wrapped and rated for 3000psi. the stickers lable them 13"x 35"and state expiration in 09, not sure if that matters, may work as propane tank but not possitive about that. these would look great on a buggy or truggy. Ill post pics tomorrow . $125

Could they be used as regular air tanks? If so, I'm interested. I'm not sure about the regulations and manufacturing standards differences between air and liquid tanks.

I dont see why not, I'm sure the date on them is for DOT safety reasons. Size wise they are about 13-14 gallons each. I thought of using them for propane but going to stick with Unleaded!

Do you come down towards Katy often, and where can I get some 2000psi gauges to put on those things? What kind of lines would be needed for that much pressure, steel brake lines with AN fittings?

I could meet you in Hempstead. Any steel braided line I would think or maybe have hydraulic lines made at a tractor dealer?
