    Hei burning up modules

    I put a hei in my 85 Dodge 318. It ran 2 or three minutes not even long enough to put the timing light on it and burned up a module. I replaced it again this morning and same thing.
    Bypassed the resistor so I have 12 volt to it with key on.Help I need ideas how to fix this.
