dana 300 to 700r4
im trying to adapt a dana 300 to a 700r4 and it involves replacing the output shaft of the 700r4. has anybody replaced a output shaft? how hard is it?

No, T he's talking about the output shaft on the tranny! good god I could go there on this subject in a funny way but will let the pros have a crack at it before I completely screw this thread up!

Back on topic i guess - take a look at what you need to swap out - i dont believe its that hard, if its a bit over your head a trans shop could do the swap for a few bucks.

i have the jb conversion kit thats for 700r4 to a np231j im thinking about getting a 2wd 700r4 and the dana 300 to 700r4 conversion kit from jb and replacing the output shaft myself
