Cal JB and talk with him if you haven't yet. But if you decided you want to change it out it can not be too hard. I have had it done for $50. Isn't the 2wd alot longer? Will you need to do anything for the rear tail housing or just loose it?

Not that hard.remove the tail shaft and stand the trans upright in a rim center to hold it. You need to assess it by removing the front pump and working your way down. it's the last thing to come out and the first thing you put in.
