Hurricane Sandy hit the East Coast over a three day period of Sunday, October 28 to Tuesday, October 30. The majority of the Eastern Seaboard states were affected, with New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut receiving particularly significant damage. Many communities still have not fully recovered, and it could take an additional week for full restoration of services.
The U.S. Chamber Business Civic Leadership Center (BCLC) is hosting a stakeholder coordination call about Sandy on Friday (11/2) at 2:00 pm ET. The purpose of the call will be to brief you about the situation on the ground in the affected area including initial impact assessment and current relief efforts. Speakers include:
