Thanksgiving In Hot Springs

Come join TX4WD for the 7th Annual Thanksgiving Fun Run in Hot Springs, Arkansas
November 27-30, 2008

It is that time again, Thanksgiving in Hot Springs, Arkansas. This run is open to everyone from beginner to the extreme driver. SUPERLIFT's OFF-ROAD VEHICLE PARK trails have been built for every type of 4-wheel drive vehicle, from scenic routes to the competitive challenges.

The cost of this event will again be only $75 per vehicle, no matter how many people you have riding. This amount covers your year's membership at Superlift ORV Park, four days of wheeling, one event t-shirt, one raffle ticket and one dinner on Saturday night. Extra meal tickets can be purchased at $12.00 each and extra t-shirts at $12.00 each (XXXL are $13.00). Friday and Saturday we will have trail leaders/tail gunners for those that would like to go in a group; the groups will be set up for 1-2 trails, 3 trails, 4 trails. Normally, the 5 trail riders head out together. If you do not want to ride with a group, we ask that everyone go out with at least one buddy in case assistance is needed.

We greatly appreciate receiving your entry by Wednesday, November 19 so arrangements can be made with the park, caterer and the correct amount of t-shirts ordered. If you are not sure, please complete the form, send it in with your check and notate "hold for confirmation" on it; then call me by Wednesday, November 19 and let me know one way or the other. After that date, checks will be deposited and all items ordered. If you find out you can make it at a late date, please call and leave a message. I'll call you back and get the information from you at that time. Packets can be picked up at the Knights Inn, last room on the bottom all the way in the back, starting the evening of Wednesday, November 26. Make sure all information on your entry form is correct and legible. If you win something at the raffle and are not there, we will mail that item to you. Last year, some items were returned due to bad addresses and some not sent due to incomplete information (yes, we checked the internet and the addresses never found).

So, bring the family and make it a weekend getaway, we guarantee there is something for everyone. The following is the most current information at this time, check in now and then for updates. If you have any questions, call 936-372-0937 and leave a message, I'll call you back.

On a fun note, for those that remember "The Dickster", well after 6 years in the making, she is being feverishly worked on to have her completed in time for the trip for her debut on the trails.
